Has anyone else said something rude or did something out of character due to depression or anxiety? For me, I ended things with my partner since my mental health was deteriorating so quickly. I thought the relationship was getting terrible, but looking back, most of the issues were due to my poor mental health and self confidence.

What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. I work 3 feet from my bed, I find the barriers of a phone/email between me and a senior to add a huge amount of stress to my life and I think it’s stunting my career development at my firm because I can’t build relationships as effectively. I’ve never at all had mental health issues before but now am really starting to feel burnt out and anxious most of the time. What do you think?

I just learned I was parentified severely, especially emotionally. The discovery came from outside of therapy, but having a place every week to sit down, slow down & reflect def led to it. I’ve been depressed for years now and this past week I lost a dog I’ve had for 15 years; he was one of the only bright spots in my life and I’ve just found it so hard to focus or motivate myself on anything after this. I genuinely feel like I’m at rock bottom, Idk if I’m crazy to feel that way bc of a dog but I used to be able to control this and put up a front but now my depression and anxiety are starting to leak into my work conversations completely unintentionally, I wish this would stop :(

I’ve been on Wellbutrin for about a year and it was working…but I feel the depression coming back. I don’t want to just keep upping the dosage (went from 150 -> 200). I’m not too sure what to do and therapy is something I can’t afford right now with my recent rent increase. Any thoughts or advice?
