Scared to make a jump? My dude, you'd be lucky to get an interview for a true consulting gig without going back for an M7 MBA.
I agree. I have a relative who worked for a consulting firm. He is a PHD who graduated from Bowdoin and Hofstra.
You need an mba to move to consulting
More realistic would be audit -> tas groups -> corp dev, strategy related consulting groups
I moved from audit to consulting, specializing in internal controls. If you’re wanting to make the jump, look for a role that plays to your current technical skills.
