Good luck! Throw an on site and virtual benefits fair in your presentation, if they haven't done one before.

Good luck! You got this!

Companies that grow quickly may be lacking for processes and controls so you could maybe speak to implementing something there. Could also make sure they are efficient as possible by automating and using services offered by providers.
Also, given their growth, wonder if they have evaluated their program to make sure it’s providing value to their much larger employee base (has diverse options) and drives desired behavior.
Lastly maybe there are opportunities for cost efficiencies since they are bigger - self insured/stop loss changes, better pricing with vendors.

Also bring up the big picture, IT integration angle. Even though it is a startup they should make sure they are considering HR tech/SaaS options as a whole that integrate with finance and save time doing things manually. Do your homework and show broader awareness of the HR software market.

Give me pointers, tell me what to sell them on... How would you present and what plan would you present to nail the job? FYI, I have already a plan of what to say, just looking to share experiences to see if I missed something... Help a sister out.

I totally agree with your statement, these items are a true misses for startups.

like

Ask them about longer term growth plans as well. While they may need you to put controls in place for a 4K company, if they grow at a rapid place, what you put in may not work in a couple of years. Better to plan for some flexibility

Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

If anyone else is studying, let me know and maybe we can share study materials!

For those who have taken it, are there any cheaper or alternative study materials to any official guides you would recommend? I went this route with the PHR and SHRM-SCP and passed each on the both try, so I wanted to see if that method may be viable here. Any recommended order to take courses in?
