Hello all, I'm doing IVF shortly (retrieval in May, and transfer in July). Fingers crossed I do get pregnant. BUT I MIGHT be up for Senior Manager at Accenture this year as well. My husband's pushing me to keep gunning for it and make it happen. I'm REALLY worried about the increased expectations/responsibilities if and when I get the promotion, not to mention the extra effort it takes leading up to it to keep proving yourself. Shouldn't I be turning it DOWN a notch instead of UP?? Thoughts?

My total YoE is 14 years. I know pretty long stay in TCS. I am happy with the work though I am not a project lead or in some manager position. Got onsite opportunity almost 7 years in support project. But some time seeing my x-teammates who have changed many companies and now in better position, feeling like I would have moved out instead of sticking to 1 company. First post-transfer blood work came back with “ok” progesterone reading. Doc wants to supplement with pills before bed. Any recommendations of how to boost progesterone? Is there something before or after the shot that can be done to increase effects?

Trying to decide between a natural cycle or a synthetic cycle for implantation. As I understand it the major difference is doing either vaginal progesterone suppositories for one or progesterone injections. How bad are the injections? Thoughts on either cycle would be appreciated.

My husband and I are just starting our TTC journey starting with Letrozole and timed intercourse. I’m planning my 30th birthday trip to Italy in June. Is it too risky to travel if pregnant during the first trimester (in case I do end up pregnant before June)?

I have well documented PCOS and my GYN said I don’t need to wait 12 months for intervention because I have 16 years of documented menstrual irregularities. I just got off my birth control in December. We want TTC starting in my next cycle. Just wanted to hear peoples experience with femera. My whole life I’ve been told it will be a struggle

For pregnant women who have had prior pregnancies/losses but no living children, do you consider yourself a FTM? When people ask if this is your first, do you share that it’s not your first pregnancy? This is my third pregnancy and would be my first living child; it’s been on my mind as I head into the second tri (which is when I lost my last baby).

I’ve never had marijuana. But the nurse gave me a Valium before my embryo transfer. I felt quite relaxed and good after taking Valium. Is it the same feeling as taking marijuana? Any sister who has had both can share? Thanks!

Anyone with stage IV endo and recurring Endometriomas gone on Lupron after egg retrieval? I’m still on birth control but my doc said after egg retrieval (assuming we get a strong embryo), I’d get off of birth control and on lupron for two months before transfer. The reason I’m not getting off of birth control now is because it manages my pain.

Post egg retrieval, and my doctor says my thyroid levels are a bit high for what he wants to see for FET, so he has me on medicine to lower it before it’s time for FET. Has anyone else experienced this? Was it caused by all the IVF shots? Will this be a long term issue?

Hi, anyone ever try using a ovulation test as a positive result for pregnancy test? I had an LH surge couple of weeks back and for the past few days my breasts are tender and I am having some taste aversions like yesterday yoghurt tasted like mud. Since my cycle is irregular I took another ovulation test today morning and it came back positive. This is my first time going through this and I am confused as to what is going on. Can I take a pregnancy test middle of the day?
