Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI
I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)
I attended an interview and did assignment for Multimedia designer role 15 days ago fo BMC team at EY GDS, still not heard back, interview was positive and assignment is also good. HR's don't reply to email and don't pick calls, should I keep hope or forgot it? I'm just asking for feedback because I have put 6 hours hard work in to assignment.
Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?

Good jobs for introverts? So over consulting.
I agree wholeheartedly:
I have a love-hate relationship with DU.
A bit extreme, still relatable

1) the first step is just making sure you’re prepared. Not sure if it’s industry or consulting, but make sure you’ve practiced case questions, STAR questions, etc.. Make sure you do research on the firm. (I think these are the basics)
2) one thing that I do before interviews (especially video) is take several deep breaths.
3)Tell yourself that if you get this job, you’ll get to know these people and you’ll realize that they’re just people too; many of them came from a similar background as you; many of them screw up; you may have more prestigious credentials than some of them.
4) Try and have fun. Interviews suck, but the best thing you can do is come into it without radiating tension/stress. This will enable you to make better connections with the interviewers.

Thank you for these tips! I definitely need to get better with #3.
Hi OP! What works for me is recording myself on video and watching back to increase self awareness - checking if I’m “um-ing” too much or if the flow is natural. It relieves anxiety because I can see for myself how I’m coming off to the interviewers. I also meditate for 10 minutes before an interview - nothing fancy. Just search for a guided meditation on YouTube. It releases muscle tensions and preps your mind. Sending lots of positive energy your way! Good luck!
Thank you! I think the video recording is a great idea. I need to try that out before my interview.

If you can practice with someone and run through expected topics and questions, that should make you more comfortable.
Remember that this is a test of them and that you should do as much vetting of them as the are doing with you. Feel confident that you can connect with them and decide if you want them as coworkers 🤔
I use to get so nervous, sweating, stomach turning. To keep nerves to the minimum and take the pressure off I changed my mindset. Sometimes we have to trick our brain. Now I consider every interview practice for my dream job. I don’t wanna blow it when that job comes, so I practice. I interview at least once a month. Sometimes I don’t connect well with the interviewer, oh well next!!! Other times it’s like we’ve been friends for years. That’s where I wanna work. My advice, lower the stakes. You don’t need that job. They need you. I get a surprising number of offers.
