What is your opinion on CSM Vs Account Management role?

Hey ZSers,

I have been selected into ZS for the BTAC role under CCM(Customer-Centric Marketing). My YOE is 3.8 in Cognizant, and the domain is ETL, DW, cloud(AWS).

My question is, ZS is giving a great package compared to what I have in Cognizant (Above 100% hike), and Cognizant is ready to retain me by giving somewhere 50%-60% hike. Will ZS be a good choice for me to switch? In terms of growth, technologies, work, pay. Or should I accept what cognizant is giving and get retained?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. Utilization may be my least favorite thing about Deloitte. It makes life challenging if you're stringing together a bunch of short-term, yet interesting, projects.

How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.

Is MBB and management consulting losing its value among young people as employer? Since i noticed majority of young people currently want to work for FAANG, startups, crypto, Unicorns, want to open their own things, etc. I guess in 2000s and 2010s consulting was a top choice for graduates. But what about now? Would love to listen to your thoughts and observations on that one
