Hi all! Any HYSA recs for places that offer a good APY and no transfer fees? Thanks!

I’ve been using Sofi for over a year now and I really enjoy it. Current APY is 4.6%. No transfer fees from my experience and easy to connect multiple banks. Note sure how common this is, but the HYSA comes with a checking out at APY 0.5% that can be used with a debit card. I’ve never used it as such, but still offers a better rate than with my local bank. Easy to use platform. Let me know if you need a referral link to get bonus $ at opening.

I use citizens access for years. Been working well for me. No fees, just limits transfers to 5x per month, which isn’t an issue

I’ve been using Preferred Deposit with Merrill/BoA. Started with about 5.02% APY. Now I think it’s about 4.92%

I’ve been using Wealthfront since it’s 5.5 with referral but standard 5 after. Usually when I request a withdrawal from the account, it actually shows up in my account pretty quick, like a day or two

Also like Marcus! I can DM you a referral

Marcus. Dunno about the others but they charge basically no fees for wire transfers or anything. Their app is super easy to use and the money clears pretty fast when transferring in or out.

Based on the Gross salary offered I have calculated the in hand salary per month would be around 152000 considering 150000 in 80C, 50000 in NPS and 200000 deductions due to home loan interest. Total tax liability is around 400000. Any other options do I have to save tax further (other than HRA, LTA)? Thanks in advance.

This is my first recession as a working adult. Is there anything specific one should do to prepare? But ibonds? We typically invest ~$8K a month into a brokerage (already have an emergency fund in actual cash but it’s maybe 2 months cash), but wondering if I should stack a bit more cash?

No worries about job loss or anything in the recession, just trying to see what others investment advice in this time would be.

I saw this townhouse in a prime location in my city for $350k (cheap for the area). The floors are all messed up though but the buyer said they’ll either lower the house price or give a credit for closing cost. There’s also a lot of nicks here and there (some locks missing from door, dents, scratches, stains, and some things are loose). But overall, the house’s architecture and design is so beautiful. Would it be worth it to get it and fix it up? Or find a newer house with less maintenance?

But then he starts to talk about how much kids cost and how we will be house poor and we won’t be able to afford kids. 🤔 Am I insane??
