Account Sup. here looking for AS/AD roles. Can be FT or freelance. I have worked across various healthcare sectors/therapeutic areas, supported upwards of 15 launches with 8 years of experience. Was formally with Real Chem/IPG so familiar with big shops but open to a change.

Curious thoughts: What would you say puts the most pressure on insurance companies to settle cases? Upcoming trial, risk of bad faith exposure, a bad witness, a screw up pre-suit, etc?

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

How is Novo Nordisk in Bangalore? Quality of work, culture, work life balance, flexibility, other benefits apart from salary. Their leave policy is very good on paper. Practically, how easy is it to avail leaves in Novo? Are there onsite opportunities? What do you suggest about taking up a scrum master role with them after working in service companies throughout the career?

Has anyone here considered leaving healthcare altogether? I am really drawn by a role in tech, but I know it's such a big leap. I have a friend who did this though, and she is making even more than I have made as a travel nurse. Is it an anomaly or a real possibility?

Which would you choose:
1. Director/Chief Privacy Officer: B2B. healthcare global company. $240K total comp + sign-on bonus. Move to the Midwest. Go to the office 3x week. Immediate senior leader. Team of 10 to manager + the entire company’s data processing.
2. Senior manager: B2C. big name tech company. $300K - $350K total comp. Ladder to climb. You’re assigned a lane. Remote. Individual contributor.

How much is a good amount (% wise) to be putting into your pension pot? Would be good to hear at different salary brackets!

Internship Program Help: Hi Everyone! I’ve never worked for a company with any type of internship program at all, let alone a really successful one. My new company thrives off our internship program, with many of our managers/directors having started as one themselves. I’d like to create more of a structure to this program but not even really sure where to begin. Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.
