Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. Judging by the PMPs I’ve worked with, I hope it decreases their salary by 10%
For real
Total of $0.
Some places will give you a one time bonus for getting this. Other than that, the salary impact is a very round number.
As far as I can tell it has no direct link to your pay. Some people mock it/look down on it but it does teach a good core skill set and it is required/preferred for a lot of project manager roles.
$0 but opens some doors since some jobs require a PMP.
PMP help recruiter/comp identify that you are PM material ( whether that’s a good/bad thing is for you to decide😀). I mean you know/will know the answer
We talking Project Master Pimp right?
Yep, purple belt specifically
I think it depends on the role and may help you seem more qualified for some project manager roles, but I’ve never seen it carry any real weight salary wise so I never bothered getting it. Experience as a project manager says the same thing.
