Anyone here who left fed job and regretted it?
Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

I started out as an associate— basically an assistant to the account managers. A couple years in, I was made a junior account manager and given my own small book of groups. I worked them for about a year before finally being promoted to full account manager.
Thank you for sharing! Basically, I work for the call center of my company and have been for awhile. The AM manager allowed me to shadow an AM and I was able to learn some general things about the position. Now waiting for a position to open up to apply.
I got into AM after doing outside sales as that was not my cup of tea. It was an easy transition since the skills required are similar; however, you have to be more organized as an AM.
