How do I break into corporate/bigger companies? As a UX designer, I’ve always worked for startup companies and am seeing myself get burnt out by the lack of processes, wearing too many hats, working on weekends to meet client deadlines, etc. I want more stability and flexibility and feel like only a bigger company can provide the quality of life that I envision for myself and family. Nothing looks promising on LinkedIn, I’ve applied to Google, Indeed, Dropbox, etc MONTHS ago. Is this normal?

Started in Tax 1yr ago but was pulled onto PPPConsulting project 10 months in. After PPP I can’t see myself going back to tax. I’ve become interested in healthcare and eventually want to do MHA and go into hospital leadership. It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Am I mistaken by this viewpoint?

I’m building my first iOS app. I only have experience in material design. I’m looking for easy to comprehend specs around standard design elements: headers, chips, buttons, etc. The iOS UI support material is nearly impossible to understand. I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately, the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However, I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?
