How do I get out of advertising? I’m quite over agency life and am running out of new career ideas.

I’m a senior associate and received an offer to join a very profitable client as general counsel that would open lots of doors professionally and financially. Problem is I’m super burned out on law and was planning on quitting law firm in the next few weeks and doing something else with my life. Someone kick some sense into me before I decline the offer.

Looking for roles on the Customer/Marketing/Sales Consulting side of things. MBA w majority of time in industry looking to make a switch.

I am trying to break out of being a channel-specific marketing manager (email marketing, app, SMS) in a CPG/clothing Fortune 500 company. My career goal is to work remote & break into total brand strategy. Initially I'm applying for job titles like: Associate Brand Manager, Sr. Brand Specialist, CRM Manager. The core things I'm highlighting is the impact I made to the overall email marketing program (w/ stats), managing projects, & providing creative direction. I'm frustrated, any advice?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

My hands are shaking!! I just got off a call with my toxic manager who is clearly not happy I am being poached for another division. I’m getting sick of getting a brief and asked to create a cool new campaign with amazing designs in less than a day. My best work isn’t turned around in less than 24 hours. And for background, I have pushed back literally every time. Nothing seems to be getting better.
