I think it is good. It normalizes the idea that workers are just numbers to their employers, so those employees should focus on their own best interests. Hopefully this makes people more willing to leave, which tilts power in favor of employees, which helps with job security and pay competition.

I don't care much one way or another. I wouldn't do it myself because I don't post anything on social media, but to each their own. If it makes them feel better, good for them.

It’s the other side of “a day in life of” tiktok videos.
If I were considering a candidate and found out they published such a video I'd be worried they could overshare sensitive information, so I think it's foolish to post. However, it highlights how impersonal the layoff / firing process has become to avoid litigation risk, which I think is disrespectful given how much it disrupts people's lives and severs working relationships

Years ago this would be seen as a “career limiting move” but today it is hero worshiped and trending. As a society we publicize and overshare everything and anything thanks to social media. Public opinion aside, not sure that this will change anything but increase the legality/liability between employer/employee.
