I don't go to the gym. I have my home equipment and I do cardio exercises every morning and sometimes 2 hours before I go to sleep. It gives me a good night sleep.
I exercise as much as possible during my free time, even when alone. Working on my core every morning, cardio whenever I'm on leave, and going to the gym at least once a week for weights. Of course, eating lots and lots of protein helps.
Oh, i love to work out. I work out about 1-1/12 hours a day!
You get a monthly salary so you have options. 1. Join a gym/get a personal trainer. 2. Form a group of highly motivated persons in your section, create a schedule and do PT. You are solely responsible for your career and unlike basic, no one is gonna push you to be better than you push yourself. Spend some of that good Army money on improving your training with an actual fitness coach/dietitian or local CrossFit gym. But don’t train like in basic. That is unsustainable. Smarter not harder.
Thanks! That sounds reasonable. That's what I fear - the workouts being like those in basic. I'd like a personal trainer if it wasn't too intense. Would you happen to have any suggestions for finding a great personal trainer?
Yup I wake up at 5am and workout for 2 hours monday through friday
I have a lot of workout equipment at my house so I set up an at home fitness center in my basement
