Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will be selected within 7-8 days. The MNC will be offering good package, but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. Query :1. If I say yes to the Big4, and when they issue the offer letter, and then I reject, can they blacklist me. 2. Also if accept the offer and say no, in that case can they blacklist me from their firm.EY Deloitte KPMG PwC

I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

Why would you ever accept a pay cut? Are your duties changing/decreasing commensurate with the change? I think accepting a cut sets a precedent that your employer shouldn’t value your work and puts you in a weaker negotiating position going forward.
I should have added more context here - but this is pertaining to taking a lateral move, not in my current role. Let me know if this helps!
I moved laterally into account mgmt, and the pay bands in my prev org were higher. I took a "cut" in that future raises will likely be smaller
I would hope to never take a pay cut, personally. I don’t think I would ever choose something that cut my pay.
I’m looking at a $5k paycut to make a lateral move, but I’m okay with it because I’m looking for somewhere with a larger team and a stronger client base (my current shop is understaffed and sinking)
Weigh out what you get for what you lose, and if it feels worth it to you, then make the decision!
