How often do veterans keep themselves in good physical shape after retiring? The older I get, the less energy I have to work out because of chronic back pain and aching joints. But at the same time, I also feel like the reason my pain won't go away and keeps getting worse is because I'm no longer physically fit.

It all depends on the person, but it does seem pretty common that people who retire tend to do less physical activity or watch what they eat because it’s not really a requirement anymore.

There are a lot of reasons. For one, mental health issues. Veterans are also more likely to experience mental health issues, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which can also make it difficult to stay active.

I've stayed fairly active by golfing and skiing. I don't work out for the sake of working out but I work out so I can do these other hobbies. I think retired people especially need physical hobbies to stay young!

I just graduated from my bachelors and I have received an offer for 3k per month (incl bonus) from Accenture in tech consulting (level 11), which was my top choice. However, I am not very satisfied with the pay so I wanted to ask:
1. I might also get offers from PwC or Deloitte, are they likely to pay more?
2. Is that enough to live a comfortable life in Amsterdam Zuid?
