Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?
Zoom

Spray paint "sales stealer" on the side of their car that someone previously broke the windshield and drivers side door window on after the tires had been mysteriously slashed. Hypothetically of course.
Indeed, a fantastic hypothesis.
Step one your in sales it’s a aggressive game . You need to pull that person aside and lay down some rules . And the rule is to not ever jump in on my sales or steal my sale period that is stealing from me and my family and I will not tolerate it.
Now idk if your scared of the person or is intimidating but if you don’t overcome this you will need to most likely leave it will eat you alive.
After talking to them mention that you had a talk with said person about that so your manager is in the
Rob them back every chance you get.
How is this even happening in the first place? You should consider keeping things more on the down low if you're having people pouncing on your clients. If you want to go the confrontation route it's probably better to go with your coworker first then bring it up to your manager if that proves futile.
Just stay on top of your customer, if your watching he or she can't pounce
Sales is competitive but doesn't mean there's no ethics watch a few times then a friendly chat with you and manger or simply the manager and them .I wouldn't let it pass by yes there is sales rules
Are they stealing full sales?
Like you've provided the full solution to the customer and then they come in and process it?
Our are you considering every customer you talk to as your sale ?
If someone is stealing your sale they are effectively stealing money from you. You’re gonna let someone steal from you?
Make a couple of ‘fake’ sales for them to steal.
Usually a healthy work office have a rotation.. so everyone gets the same opportunits, you should always address your problems with the problem source first, if that won't work... then you can go to management.
Good luck 👍🏻
I'm mot one to condone this but they will continue to do this as long as you allow them to the only way to stop this is do them as they done unto you but when you do this make sure your in the right bide your time till the timings right and you know your in the right and swoop on thier deal especially if its a large one then when they come crying to you say sorry you stole many of my deals ether that or have the whole sales force circle the wagons on the kink aka the swooper to get him out
That isn't a good look for your organization. It diminishes trust from the client side. Customers aren't dumb, they know when this kind of thing happens. Sales managers should address the issue promptly.
Stealing a sale also makes the company look bad to the client. It affects more than just you and your paycheck. But the fact they are stealing money from you should make you want to put it to a stop immediately. Some 20 years ago when I was new in sales I had a sale stolen that I only got 50% on, which was still $900 paid to me. But I put the other salesperson in the corner in front of the whole staff and very firmly spoke to them and the smirk on their face quickly melted from their face.
Both! Being upfront and transparent can go a long wya.
Keep your customers in check. Let them know to deal with you and only you. If it keeps on happening then go to manager depending on what industry you’re in. You might also see the worst case scenario too..you may be in the wrong profession
Step up your sale rep and ask yourself why this individual always takes your own perspects
Deal with it directly. They may not even realize that they’re sharking your sales. If the behavior doesn’t change you should definitely involve management.
Talk to them both at the same time. Ask to call a mandatory meeting and address it.
The way you deal with it is a new job. How does your org not have a system in place to stop things like this. I understand sales is cut throat but to be able to do this to a colleague in the same department in the same company. Other option is get good. Obviously a skill gap
What are you selling?
