I am currently S2 in real estate tax group in NY. I have been considering about relocating to Atlanta GA for a while and think now is a good time to move. Is any of the other three companies hiring now in ATL? Any advice? Thanks a bunch.

You can also get a job with a firm in a high COL area (California) but work remotely in Atlanta. Best of all worlds.

Doesn't Atlanta have a real estate tax group you could transfer to?

Yeah but I want to switch to a different firm at this point.

I believe the CR-ATL real estate group is hiring seniors as well if you are looking for a change of pace. Best of luck with the move.

I switched to atlanta EY a few years ago. Didn't like the vibe so I boomeranged back, but it's group specific.

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted? I think it depends on the industry but curious to hear if there is a national average and if that number is even realistic given the increased number of roles in the market. Also curious to know what average numbers some of you are seeing in your companies.

Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

I have joined Nagarro almost a year now as a senior architect. However, I see lot of issues here. The company is great so far as employee friendliness is concerned. It may be rated as the top most company in that regard and that is why attrition is well within control. However, there are issues:

1. Project Allocation - allocated to projects without fitment with the role or skills. No internal job portal

2. Lots of seniors in bench for long time

3. No way to give company feedback

It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring?
