Hello fellow Fishes I have an offer from persistent. Need some clarity on same. I want to know the grade system in persistent. What does 7.1 mean? Is 7.1 a right fit for an total experience of 10+ years? What is the appropriate CTC for an architect designation? I want to know if I am getting it as per experience.

I was a FTO with I.S.P. What sets most recruits back is not knowing or working on geography at the start of the FTO program. Most new officers become frustrated when unable to state where they are at or where they need to go to. Until the recruit becomes somewhat confident in this, their frustration will carry over to actual police activities. A good FTO will understand your limits on police activities at first, but expect you to gain confidence after the first few weeks. If you work to learn, listen and try you will be fine.
I know that studying for the state exam will be key, so I've been focusing on that. One of my friends who graduated from the academy said that the FTO program is a great learning experience and he actually enjoyed it. He suggested taking it one step at a time and to talk to my FTO if I ever need help or have questions.
