Forrester Research I am interested in applying at Forrester for one of their AE/AM roles. Does anyone have any insights into how the presentation portion of the interview is supposed to be handled? I know they recommend using a slide deck, but it is supposed to be a discovery meeting. I typically run discovery as just a conversation, so I am a bit unsure as to how one would create a deck for this?

I started a new job in May. I took a step down from Paralegal to Legal Asst. At my interview I was told that to them the title was interchangeable & I would be doing Paralegal work, especially considering that I knew how to do the heavy Paralegal work. But it’s been 6 months of tedious admin work & when I point out mistakes on pleadings, question case strategy or discovery methods, & suggest more effective ways to get things done, I get these weird looks or the brush off. What can I do?

Just had a phone screen today for the Account Strategist role. The recruiter said that the target level is l3 or l4 (I have 5+ yoe in performance marketing). Should I push for l4? Additionally, how long does it usually take before I hear back from the recruiter. Thank you!

Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?

Why do job postings stay up (or re-post) on job boards when the position doesn’t exist?

Multiple times I’ve reached out and I get “our hiring needs have changed” or “that’s not accurate”. 🙄

I’ve been doing ID for about 2 years now. Mostly slip and fall and WC work. Long-term, I want to move out of ID. I’m currently interviewing at a firm that does ID, but mostly does insurance coverage opinions. They also do some more complex ID, such as L&E.

With the ultimate goal of moving completely out of ID, would this be seen as a step up? I appreciate any and all feedback. TIA

Anyone else just not at all thriving in their career? 3 years in and I have a resume that's appropriate for a 9th year. I am not great at what i do. Definitely don't ever get feedback I'm good at what I do. Why am I even in this career.

When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). What company runs the background check?

My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?
