I get this a lot and even my meds don't seem to help. Sometimes it really just is your brain's way of saying it needs more rest because our minds use up more energy than neurotypical brains since they're "always on." So drink plenty of water and try to get some extra rest where you can! Good luck!

Are you getting enough (high quality) sleep?
You should aim for 7.5 hours, minimum. Remember too that it usually takes 15-30 mins to fall asleep, so that’s 8 hours in bed.
Do you have a regular sleep schedule?
It should be the same on weekdays and weekends and ideally align with sunlight hours.
Are you practicing good sleep hygiene?
Meaning that you only use your bed for sleeping, no screens/electronics an hour before lights out, and no late meals.

Heard an interesting podcast about screen effects on the brain. Try reducing screen time especially social media and report back to those of us who are more addicted than you.
I feel like my brain is on a permanent vacation and I can't seem to find it. That being said exericise does help with the brain fog and your sleep is also very very important.

My brain is on sleep mode whenever I’m not interested in what I’m doing
This. It's like my brain makes the Windows shutdown noise and it does not matter what I try to do to circumvent it, because the systems are already offline lol.
Exercise, regulate your blood sugar, try to implement better sleep habits if you can, identify activities that are genuinely restorative to you rather than just scrolling/watching TV to “relax”
Get checked out at your doctor. Might be a gut health issue or something else, but this description doesn’t sound typical.

Echoing the advice to rest. If I’m starting to burn out, not even my meds can help. I take some 3 or 4 day weekends and come back a new person. If I’ve waited too long, I need a week off.
