I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

I used to do this but now I just spend points as soon as I get them. You have no control over what Marriot does with the points system and they inevitably will lose value over time with inflation. Might as well use them up and save cash now that can be invested in other ways.

No. Points will always be on the arc of devaluation, it’s better to use them — as long as the redemption value is good (>=0.7 cpp at the moment)
I moved away from Bonvoy bc they changed their system so much. They only set aside a small portion of their rooms for points stays and it’s near impossible to get upgraded when staying on points. Switched my card to Chase Sapphire Reserve and can transfer 1:1 with most loyalty programs. Now I tend to stay at Hyatt properties bc they have the best redemption rates in the industry. 15k for points stays vs 25k-35k for comparable Marriott properties.
Ya, Hyatt is best by far. Just sucks that they have soo few properties compared to Hilton or Marriot- but Globalist actually means something. Consistently get room upgrades at Hyatt.
Pretty rare that is makes sense, I have also seen it make no sense at all in some cases. Look up the current value of a point and always do the math. You should be getting at least the average point value or probably shouldnt use points. Sometimes it makes sense to pay entirely vs use points as higher category hotels will have high min point values and if there is low demand the room rate might be cheaper.
You should be using the 5th night free perk if you want to maximize your points.
