I have a second round interview with a low code company for an SE role and to be honest, I have no deep technical expertise (only coding I’ve ever done is SQL). What can I do to prepare?

Has anyone noticed that hiring seems to be slowing?? I’m unemployed what am I supposed to do….

Do companies typically reach out to you after finishing the interview process or is it more common to never hear anything again? I feel like the professional thing to do is to let everyone know they’re moving forward with another candidate but no one seems to do that.

I've been at my job for 1 year, and partner up with a lot of different stakeholders. My manager doesn't give me any support and guidance.

For the last 6 months, some senior stakeholders demand solutions relentlessly and will make rude/sarcastic comments about me in large meetings.

I thought I'd just suck it up and take it in my stride, but it's really impacted me mentally. My manager is friends with them, and I know will not help.

Base is 60k OTE 85k, but 120% commission cap. I support 10 AEs whose base is 55k. I have 13 years experience in my field, including 5 working in the position of my now prospects. Closed dozens of deals at trade shows, created/presented virtual and in-person seminars, create onboarding and scripts for the reps I support as a SE and am required to be on majority of demos across all time zones. I know I’m getting screwed, but how bad?

I’m a pre sales SE and my variable comp is based entirely on team performance. The sales guys are pressured to build their pipeline, and so the quality of targets and leads in the pipeline is low. It’s not possible to hit 100% of my commission target. Last Q I got 20% of goal. My individual performance is highly praised and my boss is worried I’ll quit and is trying to adjust my comp plan. Is this par for the course? Or should I get comped better despite poor team performance?
