I have United healthcare community plan but also now have United health care Oxford plan through my new job. The latter is more expensive and most of my doctors take United healthcare community plan. Should I just drop the Oxford plan?

Rant: my boyfriend is so annoying with this diet! I GET IT. You want to eat healthy! But when you have your friends at our place every other weekend they order pizza and you devour most of 2 boxes! But when I want pizza or wings or burgers I have to hear a whole spiel. “Can we pick something healthier?” “You can order ___ but can I choose something else on the menu?” “I don’t knowwww” like MY GOD. Then if I order something for me he wants half or bites! Sick of it!!!

Can anyone recommend a traditional travel agent for booking Italy? Going solo for a wedding, so I don’t need the luxury itinerary planning of a “travel advisor” (& don’t want to pay the fee), but the wedding’s in a small town so handling finding best flight, which airport to fly into, transportation from airport to said small town, etc. plus someone to call during trip if there’s a snaffu. Let’s talk alcohol abuse. Why don’t employers test for it?

I’d like to say “I ran an experiment”. But the truth is simply that I’m an alcoholic (or just an addict) by definition; I’m the type to have periodic mid/long-term bursts of heavy drinking. I most recently lost almost everything to it and my employer, if they did notice, had no concerns. Now I’m switching jobs and had to take a drug screen… I could have passed with flying colors and a 1.3BAC, no one would say a thing. It’s terrifying.

Lost 5lbs in one week by pushing my first meal of the day back to 11:30am. Probably can’t consider it to be intermittent since I don’t have a hard cut off time for when I stop eating at the end of the day but I’m really happy that this small adjustment is working! 

I need advice from younger 🐠 who are closer to my son’s age than I am. He’s finishing up his 1st year in college and he’s gained the Freshman 15+. He plays a college sport, so he’s getting some activity, but with classes a hybrid of in-person and online, he’s not as active as usual and I think he’s enjoying unlimited food on his dining plan. I’ve heard jokes about the Freshman 15, but not seen how this plays out. Is this common? Do most people lose it when they adjust to college?

I’ve had a nagging headache the last few weeks but not bad enough to take OTC meds. The last four days or so it has gotten worse and I’m now taking Aleve or IB Profen which haven’t helped much. I have a history of ocular migraines and ice pick headaches. Getting concerned that it’s not going away and wondering if I should go to the doctor or do I keep waiting it out?
