Anyone in SF/ San Jose? f25
Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Where there is no booze, there is no investment banking
Home town is salt lake and I will say it will never compare to NYC
SLC's culture is holding it back. The Mormons are super exclusive, they do not spend money so the local economy is shit, and everything closes on Sundays. It'd be a wonderful place to live if not for the Mormon culture.
I agree. I'd love to move there. But the city is not diverse enough to accommodate top talent from overseas, which the NY office does a good job bringing
True, but if firms start bringing iBanking to SLC it will create demand for booze and, inevitably, opportunities to build more bars and transform the city. It will take time but I can see that happening at some point if everyone was progressive. I'm just all about that mountain life.
^ that could happen in just about any city except SLC
I'm with you OP. Hoping the trend continues in the PNW / Colorado.. I'd be there instantly
