Utah Department of Health I worked here for 2 years. An initially great culture and environment became steadily worse over that time due to the executive leadership team, and specifically the executive director. They forced all employees to return to the office 2x/week, denied all requests for accommodations under the ADA, and generally micromanage and overly exert themselves through poorly though out administrative decisions. I would highly recommend working elsewhere until/unless there is turnover in the leadership.

I have worked in municipal government for almost 17 years. I love what I do as an Inspector, but the environment is toxic, and administration horrible. I have an opportunity to go into the private sector side, as well a second interview for another municipality doing same job.
