Why we gotta have resumes, just trust me bro...
AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon

It mean you're in the home stretch - you made the cut but not the final cut just yet. Keep applying, follow up with them, and you'll likely hear back shortly
Means you are in the running for the position.
Under consideration can mean any amount of things based on the company. My general thought is that it is somewhere in between we have it, but haven’t read it yet. Applications seem to take forever now, so I wouldn’t expect a speedy reply, or at least I haven’t been getting any yet.
Recruiting is NOT doing their job and updating the system. They have likely hired someone,
They hired a friend of a referral but if that doesn’t work out then they’ll call you in 6-8 months.
It means that you're still in the running, but it doesn't mean much beyond that. Just that you haven't been eliminated. If you submitted an application and have heard nothing, I wouldn't be too optimistic. But things can take a while, so you may yet hear something positive.

Means they are looking at all applications and you may or may not here back. No corporation actually cares enough to be decent and be transparent.
From my expirence it meant you made the short list of applicants. I had a boss email me and say hey you are still being considered, but we have a few more interviews. And I got the job. Unless it was an automatic reply.
I would reach out to the company to see if they have had time to review your application.
50/50 chance you getting the job
