I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

Business Admin is so broad I don't think you should have a problem finding a remote role. While you may still have to work up the ladder, I would look into local or remote opportunities to build experience while you're in school.

I think you’ll need to do a little more digging into what you want to do. You’ll be stuck between 60 and 80k a year for the rest of your life if you exit with a BA in business and are just looking for a job in “business”.
There are plenty of remote jobs out there that will launch you to 250k + in ten years, but you really need to focus on building a career rather than getting a job.
For example, Accounting can lead to a career in public accounting, and you’ll be at 100k before you turn 30, but if you graduate and apply to a staff account roles at small companies and look at it as a job rather than a starting place for your career, you’ll work 9-5 for the rest of your days making 65k.
Business information systems is another great paying field, data analysts can make anywhere around 65k starting out on the low end, up to 90k as a consultant on the high end, both with great pay trajectory.
Just don’t fall into the trap of thinking a General Business degree will land you a well paying job that is remote. Focus on building a career not finding a job.
FWIW, I am starting my career over at 27 too. I was an accountant for 5 years after college, and am now in data consulting, starting off at the level of new grads, but making 50% more than I did in accounting.
I totally agree, if I think small I will only achieve small scale pay. Thanks for the advice it’ll help me look at it from a better perspective.
