What do you think about 100 e-mails, 25 conversations on the phone (not calls, conversation), 30 connection on LinkedIn, 30 messages on LinkedIn? Hi all, my aim is to join one of the faang companies after two years. I want to dedicate these two years to attain whatever knowledge ia required. My skillset is currently java, springboot thats all. What i need to prepare to get into one of these top companies. Can someone elaborate the required skillset and how many interviews and what kind of interviews and so on.

This isn’t anything original but I work in a small Southeast Asian country and would love to work in the states one day. Not necessarily anytime soon. Maybe in a couple of years but it seems near impossible to do the kind of work that would be worth any US agency’s time in this market. There are a bunch of really talented people here but for some reason the work just doesn’t reflect it. For those who made the jump across from a shit small market. How did you do it and do you have any advice?

I've been in the same job for 8 years (longest tenure in my career) and I was looking at a friend's LinkedIn profile. He's been at 5 companies during that period. With ramp times that can go from a year to 18 months and sales cycles that are 9 - 18 months long in the SaaS space, how does one succeed by job hopping so much?

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.
