I’m managing a community that’s right around a year & there’s a clear sense of community forming, which is great! The problem comes from an anonymous survey I posted where multiple members touched on how they have a hard time feeling included. There’s notes about super users operating as a clique and only tag one another, or are more critical of members outside of the group. Is there an easy way to scale inclusion of others while still ensuring the super users can have their clique?

What's the purpose of the super user platform? Is there opportunity for other community members to become a part of the clique? If it's something that everyone could technically become a part of, then I don't think you need to worry too much about the exclusivity of it.

An easy way to scale inclusion is to create community norms and expectations up front, so that everyone is aware of expected behavior. This can also be done by actively celebrating the contributions of members outside of the super user clique and making sure that their voices are heard. Additionally, as a leader, I would make sure to personally reach out to individual members to make sure they feel included and valued.

Maybe take away the "super user" feature. It sees like it's doing more harm than good

Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Lots of right wing hysteria about liberals trying to engineer equality of outcome to correct sexual/racial inequities (in higher ed, for example). I think we all want socioeconomic, gender and racial barriers to opportunities to be addressed, but no significant number of people really believe in equality of outcome right? Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.

You CAN be that leader that people want to work with. 1st, self assessment is required. Be honest: As a leader,have you engaged in/accepted Attribution Bias with a dash of gender &/or race bias? (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.

I had HR round today for TCS, Everything was ok until HR offer salary, offering 11.5 for 4 yoe in automation testing, Current package is 7.65. I have said ok and she said i will receive offer letter in 7-10 days but i am not convinced with that offer.
I am thinking to reject that as it is very low and i can't put papers based on that low of a package.

I work as the only associate on deals for one “smaller” (still by no means small) client that intentionally doesn’t invite me to calls or tells me before hand to not join so they don’t have to pay for two lawyers. The partner expects me to handle most of the issues discussed on the calls on my own, but the client doesn’t want me on them. Anyone dealt with this?

My area of law I work with alot of "Finance bros" some may even refer to me as a "bro". When I talk to these guys I try to be relaxed with them to have a good client relationship and I don't want to come off as a Suit. But still want to be seen as a professional.
