I think it’s lovely actually. I don’t care how you show it - you are showing preparedness!
I’ve interviewed hundreds of candidates. I’m favorably impressed by anyone who refers to notes for bullet points or metrics, but 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 from notes is a kiss of death for that candidate’s prospects.

I always jot down notes and questions but don't refer to them until the end of the interview.
I always bring a clipboard or folder that includes a copy of my resume & cover letter, copy of job posting, and a note pad where I list the questions I have. And a pen. I review these just prior to the interview (e.g. on the bus or in parking lot). And I use this for the question part of interview, which is usually at the end. I quickly jot down their answers as well, hence the pen. ;) It's never occurred to me not to do this lol. Hope no one was judging me negatively for it! But honestly, if they were, it probably wouldn't be a good fit for either side.
I always bring notes to an interview.
If it is a virtual interview, use a legal pad.
If it is in-person, then bring a small notepad or notebook (no bigger than 5 x 8) and a nice executive pen set ($10 to $20).
Beforehand, I write down questions that I want to ask and certain key data points.
I do not know if it helped or hurt me during interviews, but as someone who occasionally interviews people, I welcome it.
The interviewer is going to be taking notes on you, so they should not mind.
Bring a notepad and questions to your interview. After you get settled ask politely " Do you mind if i take a few notes during our discussion?" One time the interviewer said they'd prefer i didn't and I knew then i dodn't want the job. I got an offer but declined, dodged a bullet. Most of the time the interviewer says yes. The reason you want to take notes and have your questions written on your notepad is it shows you're well organized and focused. At the end of the interview you can ask any questions you might have that weren't answered in the interview. It's also good for the thank you letter in which you can reiterate strong points that were discussed. Good luck!
