Heavily regulated industry experience in verticals like Pharma are relevant. B2B vs B2B sensibilities / experience also relevant. Don’t sell what you aren’t, sell what you are.
Read up on the offering of the client so you are at least average level savvy on finance products and terms. A lot of financial companies actually have social streams and most have promotional partnerships or events. Get familiar so you can ask stuff like, “do you do work around the PGA partnership or work with other firms on that?"
Thank you, HOP1! I have experience in regulated industries so hoping that can translate over. Fingers crossed!
Worked on Fin Serv for 7 years. Agree get to know their general offerings from their site. Look through their site and social content to try and understand what their current priorities are (ie wealth management, attracting high net worth clients, robo offerings, etc.) . And yes talk up your keen understanding of working within a highly regulated space is key. And dress conservatively for the interview. Fin Serv clients are usually very boring dressers. 😂
