Aside from allowing you to save up faster to make the leap, the novelty of the new gig might energize you. I don’t see a downside as long as you give it a good go and don’t screw over the new place for the time that you’re there.

Just take it, you never know how you’ll feel in 6mos and in the mean time you’ll be making more money that could tide you over if you wanted to bounce without a new job.
If you’re planning on leaving advertising, it seems like it would matter less if you burned a bridge (although honestly if you explained that this opportunity came up that you couldn’t turn down, they’re less likely to be pissed especially if it’s outside of advertising). I say take the pay raise. You’ve got nothing to lose.

You never really know what the future will bring. I would choose the best opportunity for now, as long as you can commit to at least 6 months there.
