Hey Guys, off topic question... My mom has a savings account in a Punjab National Bank branch. Recently while trying to do transaction branch manager is informing her account has been blocked as per SEBI directive, he is not showing any proof for the same. Now my mother does not even have a DEMAT account, nor does she have any dealings with stock market. Any suggestions on what to do regarding this? It really does depend on policy. Some policy states you have to be at the company for x amount of time after parental leave to receive the benefit. (From my memory it’s not long but maybe a couple months at most)
Downsides totally depend on specific company policies. Ask HR!
No repayment at EY
Often times you have to pay back premiums on benefits. I’d come back for the obligatory 2-4 weeks after leave and then make the choice.
Why not wait and resign?
Speaking as a new mom, I had zero time on parental leave for anything other than baby care and I had a baby nurse and then a nanny. The last few weeks I barely had time to get to the doctor appointments I had for myself. Enjoy the time with your little one and worry about the next steps when you come back.
