Have you tried talking to them?
One thing my mentor taught me is find people you have short hand with and stick with them. You don’t need to befriend everyone.
This is what I found helpful: Be good at your job. No one wants to be onboard or associated with bad press. Be curious and get to know people on a human level. Lean into shared experiences and common interests. Find/Make opportunities to chat outside work, during lunch, happy hour, and coffee run. Put yourself out there (share something about yourself), you get what you give.
Go out for a lunch date. Or a drink after work. Maybe make some cookies and bring them in. You know, normal human kindness things.
Be interested. Offer to help them move. Offer to sit for their dog. Congratulate them when they win. Console them when they don’t. Let them know how much you value their friendship without saying “I really value your friendship.”
