I’ve had two new monthly reports shoved on to my plate since January. I was promised a promotion in November yet I have yet to receive it or a salary increase. The excuse is I have to wait until after a contract is awarded. However, I’ve noticed several of my colleagues have received promotions. Also, merit increases will be dispersed next month. I want a merit increase and a promotion increase. Do you think I’ll get both increases?

I’ve been running into weird happenings at my new firm learn of everything “I misunderstood” about my package. I don’t actually qualify for quarterly bonuses at a pro-rated billing rate; no 401ks till year 2; and the biggest—we don’t qualify for a raise unless we are here during the entire fiscal year. Business generation is going to be the bane to my existence.
