I joined in Accenture as level 8. Prior to joining, I was apporached by a project, and they seemed to not convince with my lack of knowledge about the role hence they dropped me even after contacting couple of times. Now I have got call from another one and they also seem to be not fully sure because my last role was very different. My question is how difficult is it to get a project in Accenture? Will this interviews continue? Also, what are the chances of me getting a suitable role?
Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?
Hi Fishes,

Run away. Bonus is not clear, neither are salary increases. This firm literally slashed a ton of benefits and made no announcement to staff. Evey good employee is leaving (reason for your high salary).
Is that the primary reason people are leaving? Can you speak to culture / work life / growth opportunities? The folks I spoke to in the healthcare group seemed pretty solid compared to others on consulting I interviewed with.

Avoid
Can you clarify why? I see a few people here saying that and literally nothing else so some context would be great
I was a above average performer @ Guidehouse (public sector) last year and made a $3k bonus off a 80k salary. Wasn’t happy about it but hey better than nothing
^more context, Guidehouse changed their title structure after merging with Navigant. Guidehouse C is now a defacto Analyst
I got a 3% raise PreCovid. I exited stage left because at the same time, I was literally across three projects. I was being worked like a dog for 3%. Nope!!!
Same C1! The best partners and people left the firm and it’s a shell of what they were at PwC. I’ll be very interested to see if Veritas can actually sell it.
Authors base sounds great for SC level
Base I’m happy with but my concern is total comp may not be fully aligned. Even though base vs base my increase is 20% my bonus target at my industry role is 10% of base. So if their bonus is approx. 5% for Sr Consultant then my effective total raise is really only 8%. Less if you factor in that I was a high performer the last few years so my % scales up currently.
I just took an offer for $120k at SC there as well. See you soon if you do elect to take it. I see there are a lot of bad comments, but I came from Deloitte Tax to Guidehouse Federal and think it’s a good next step. Though to be honest, my old base was 83k so this is nearly a 50% raise.
