After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I just did - I held out on the agency side for awhile (I'd recommend it if you could). I definitely learned a lot on the agency side and wouldn't trade it, but now that I left, I realize how overworked I was. I'm still new though so I'll keep you posted on the whole decision front.
@OP - I just landed a role at Twitter. I needed a change of pace. Don't give up on the data -crunching though! It's definitely a good skill to have and will help set you apart from other contenders.
Cool. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask where did you go in the end? Even if you share the category. Was it dig, data, video, or content or all of the above LOL. Surely your work life balance is better. Expense account for entertaining?
I hear ya. Data has turned my role into a bean counter and constantly justifying media sufficiency to the client. Perhaps I'm on the wrong account but I'm so bored with it already. Wheres the innovation, creativity.
I think it depends on the person. Some friends have been unable to go client side. Others have a hard time getting back into agency depending on what area. Others have a hard time leaving the money. This is be no means saying no one leaves sales. Just something to consider.
I'm considering it but I'm tired of dealing with the day to day minutiae of media planning. I'd rather focus on strategy TBH.
Depends what your future goals are. I know a ton of people that have moved that are happy, successful and loving the life. Once you go to sales, it can be hard to get out.
@Spark- what do you mean hard to get out. Is it because of better lifestyle, more balance or because it's difficult to get back to agency and merchandise yourself if you wanted out again?
