Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

I received an email from the HR at Monitor Deloitte that I've cleared the case round and a back to back discussion with partner and director of the team will be scheduled. Been almost 3 days since this email, haven't received asking for availability from the scheduling team. This for a role with their Lifesciences Strategy practice in the UK. How long do they typically take to schedule the final round of discussions? Do they eliminate candidates in this round?

Booz Allen Hamilton rescinded my offer because my current firm will not waive the non-compete clause in our employee agreement. It was allegedly a capability hire, and not tied to a particular project.
I work one level above entry level, and really shouldn’t even have such a restrictive non-compete.
I’ve already resigned, and would prefer to be unemployed rather than continue working here.

Yes, consulting is junk right now. University benefits are often generous.
Take it
Absolutely take it. Safe haven. Any port in a storm. Stay at least a year, more for your commitment to the university and the time you’ll commit to onboarding. You may love it! And take courses for sure if free. And $20k after taxes is just around $615 less per pay. This looks good on your resume and is easily explained or justified due to market conditions and “opportunity to give back to my alma mater.” If it were me 😉
I’d take it. If you’re able to take classes or use the campus for free it could be worthwhile.
Take the lower gig and be financially stable vs having your ego rule you. Also, in terms of jumping ship early, if the other company reaches out or calls you back, they already know your current stint more or less. It's more of their problem.
Yes
Yes take it. Things will be volatile for a while
