Poor engagement review.
One is the eventual indicator of other. Not quite MECE
Poor utilization could be attributed to factors out of your control. Same is true for poor engagement review, HOWEVER, they are likely to blame only you for the poor engagement review.
Manager 1, wrong verb there. One COULD BE the eventual indicator of the other. No associate can convince clients to sign projects that the in impotent leadership of their group is unable to sell. We can make decks all we want, but unless partners and directors sell work, no associate/SA can invent utilization
^agreed, depends how often both the events happen. I'd say there can be valid reasons for both and if you have the right people supporting you, both can be turned around else either one can pull you down . Personally I think performance reviews can hunt you down more than until at staff level.
Well poor utilization (i.e. not generating value) eventually leads to poor engagement reviews... and poor engagement reviews can lead to poor utilization. Goes both ways...
