Partner Interview (6th interview).
Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

Don’t work with random recruiters. Always ask for referrals.
I don’t know why so many of my peers have to be awful
Especially with UK-based search firms, they are trained to "recruit" this way. When I was an internal recruiter, the UK search firms would like to us about candidates' other offers, actually call partners to pressure them to hire, lie to us about signing bonuses, and were generally so dishonest that we could never close a deal with them because they lied to the candidates about what we could offer as well (i.e. no meeting of the minds because both sides were being lied to). This behavior came from multiple UK-based search firms.
Also rule of thumb is that if they ask for your resume that partner never asked for you specifically
This happened to me with a different recruiting firm - I don’t get it either.
