I have not worn makeup or anything besides a T-shirt in 18 months
Nah, if it's internal no one cares. Just don't be topless.

Of course that’d be on webex
I’ve found video really increases engagement so it’s actually much less boring. I used to dress in nice tops (no make up) but all of our team has gradually moved to tshirts and hoodies and no one really cares!
It’s about to be hoodie season here. Best believe I’ll be cozy on camera all through fall, y’all.
Use annoying filters until they give up on the new policy (disclaimer: my advice may cause loss of job).
I just started at a new company where video is used 80% of the time. It’s refreshing and more interactive. I also haven’t seen a lot of people dressing up professionally for internals or really externals.
Had a meeting today with an external and she openly said excuse my hair and workout fit I’m heading to the gym after this.
I previously worked at a company and we all used teams but NO ONE used cameras unless it was a big upper management lead meeting.
I’m in tshirts every day, about to switch to hoodies for the fall and winter. We’re all in casual wear, even on our executive leadership meetings, except there’s always a guy wearing Hawaiian shirts even though he’s not in Hawaii right now.
I'm in multiple calls a day, including with all kinds of fortune 500 companies, and almost everyone is wearing t-shirts. Less so if they aren't in the US though.
I rotated 2 hoodies (one red and one grey) for 5 months straight. Nobody said anything.
If you're full time remote, you could be naked with a shirt on and good to go. Just clean the crumbs off your chair before sitting down
Business on top party on the bottom!!
Dont pull a too bin during the calls
For remote jobs I've been on, the answer is usually no...but it depends on the workplace culture. I would go casual, not too formal...but not laid back...and see how the culture is.
No why...
In most cases no
Probably not, but it may be best to target median or slightly below median in terms of your dress. You don't want to stand out as the least well dressed.
I don't think expecting you to shower and wear a decent shirt is overly demanding. You can still wear shorts and sweat pants.
Wait, who said anything about showering?!? Yes, Amazon has sold out of dry shampoo at twice since the pandemic started 😆
