You’re not doing anything wrong. Most people still believe the “My company cares about me, and wouldn’t let me go even if times got hard” propaganda that they’ve been taught their whole lives.
My first thought...How did they find out? First rule of OE is not to discuss it. Second thought....your friend's opinion shouldn't matter. You have your reasons for what you are doing and it's not a great friend to be judgemental.

If you are supposed to be giving full 8 hours every day to a company and you’re not I’d say it’s a bit unethical. If you are working two jobs fully and putting in expected hours each week for both then it’s not.
The ethical issue isn’t holding two jobs, it’s doing two jobs at same time when both employers believe you’re giving their job your full attention.
