We had a team touchbase where we as a group were asked our concerns regarding year end. I raised my concerns about staffing/expectations (the team is 75% new) since last year was demanding with us being up to 1 AM the day before deadline.

My director was on the call but not my VP. My VP reached out today and said he doesn’t appreciate hearing such comments on the grapevine but I was confused b/c all i did was answer the question I was asked.

The hostility on my team is rough. We have a yeller. I walked by her room the other day. She was screaming across the room at a student, "you have to be kind to get kindness." Seriously, those were her words in a loud, berating, angry tone. Our admin has asked that we not report these. We are to talk to the teacher. She has yelled at me and other adults. Admin has to know she treats the kids this way too. One teacher has to work with her door closed to not hear the yelling all day.

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?

Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough!
