Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

I drank approx 1 glass a wine a week in my 3rd trimester. My doc more or less OKed it stating that the AAP recommends 0 alcohol basically because it's easier to do that than research light/moderate consumption in pregnancy 😁
I did it in my first trimester too bc it was the holidays and didn’t feel like pretending. it was my second pregnancy and the glasses of wine were really small. My mom always tells me she had 2 vodka tonics every Friday when she was prego w me. So a little red wine seemed ok🤷🏻♀️
I never did only bc I’m a huge worrier, so I wouldn’t have even enjoyed it, ya know? I think if you’ve done the research and are comfortable more power to you!!

Love that book! Added some much needed sanity to a could-be stressful time. That said, I def had some red wine during both of my pregnancies, but really just for the taste. My favorite quote is, “Wine is a condiment.” So if you just take a few spaced out sips with a meal to enjoy its flavor, you’re fine. This was, of course, only until my heartburn made it impossible to enjoy red wine at all! Note: both of my children are healthy (thank god).

I had a glass here or there. Especially since I was pregnant over my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years
My OB said it was fine so I had a glass of champagne on special occasions - thanksgiving, Christmas etc. I’d rarely finish the glass as I preferred the smell more then the taste!
Not a drop. Too 🤮 .

I didn’t, but only b/c my baby was being monitored for growth restrictions, so I was very, very careful to not eat anything that might contribute to that.
First pregnancy I didn’t but that was mainly because I couldn’t stomach the thought of alcohol. Was completely turned off by it. Second pregnancy I didn’t have that feeling/reaction and had a glass here and there. Never two at a time.
I fully anticipated drinking while pregnant, and then had no desire to. I tasted wine a couple times and thought it was disgusting. The smell of tequila was AMAZING to me though, and I thought that was not a good thing to imbibe in any quantity, so I abstained.
🙋🏽♀️ starting in the second trimester. That book was my bible all pregnancy - it kept me sane
I had a glass of champagne/sparkling wine about once a week with my first. Then panicked about it years later when he was diagnosed with ADHD. But then I didn’t drink with with my second and he has also been diagnosed with ADHD. So less guilt about drinking, but now mom guilt for genetics.
If it makes you feel better... I have adhd and my mom never drank. Life isn’t so bad, as long as you make lots of lists to manage it! I also think in some ways it has actually benefited my creative process.
None in my first trimester (though I faked it for work parties as someone mentioned) but the occasion glass of red wine in 2nd and 3rd. I read several studies about the infinitesimal amount of alcohol that is transferred from the bloodstream to breast milk and decided that I wasn’t pumping and dumping my liquid gold unless I was trashed (which was just one weekend out of 10 months.) If you’re really worried you could cut clean milk with “compromised” milk so you don’t have to waste any. Not drinking with an infant wasn’t a desirable option for me (nor is not drinking with a now 5 year old. While sheltering in place.) 🍷
I had one drink t 2&3 on occasion. If you’re trying to be more careful but still drink t 1 is the most important to avoid it
