I'm a marketer and I'm having a hard time getting my clients to listen to me.

I have been in marketing for 10 years now. I've worked with hundreds of clients and have been able to increase their sales by over $1 million each year.

But every time I go into a meeting with a new client, they ignore everything I say. They just want to talk about their product. They don't seem interested in learning how to market it better.

Do you have to know some within AmerisourceBergen to work for them? I feel like I have tried 5 times to work for them and nothing has happened.

Anybody care to share tactics for negotiating rates with procurement? Know they’re bluffing to drive all competing agencies down, but not sure what leverage we have to push back.

How do agencies prospect for leads? Is there a database that allows companies to submit an RFI/RFP and then agencies just submit to it? How do agencies know when a company wants to be pitched?

Besides the infamous google sheet and Glassdoor, where are you all looking to make sure you’re been compensated appropriately? I feel like our little niche is tricky to do proper comp research on, but it’s possible I’m missing something…
