Got offered a role leading sales at a bootstrapped company that's been profitable on the consumer side for a decade and is now building out B2B. Small but growing, real equity on the table, founders still in the building. Current gig feels like rearranging chairs on the Titanic. Would you jump?

How do referrals work?
If I get a referral from someone and I apply, then can I still reach out to a recruiter on LinkedIn expressing interest in the role? And do I let them know that I already applied? Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.
