Hi Sharks, I recently got an Offer from Pwc AC for the position of Senior Associate (50% hike from current fixed pay). However this position is 2 levels down from my current position. This makes me feel concerned. In my current position, I work in a capacity of a senior manager (compared to PwC); however in Pwc AC I will be far from any management. My current company is ready to match my CCTC to PwC Fixed; with a retention clause.

Any suggestions on securing an interview with Apple in Austin in a senior quality manager role? I interviewed with them late last year for a role but didn't make it to offer phase. I've been in quality for over 20 years spanning several industries. Just looking to cut thru the applicant pool if anyone can help. Apple

They won't go higher, slalom can't compete on salary but tries to make up for it with culture, no travel requirements, work and family balance, events, etc. EY 1 is right, all cards are off the table when you join, negotiate and get in writing.
just my opinion and advice
General rule of thumb - negotiate before you accept the offer/join. All cards off the table once you've crossed that bridge.
Depending on years experience, OP, I would try to get a PC position. More of a pay increase and continued people mgmt activities. I'm assuming you do that in current role?
They matched my mgr pay from big 4. And i made a really good salary coming in.
It just depends on the group you are joining, the city and what you bring to the table.
I believe what helped was that i was close to makomg director / senior mgr at my old place and they were considering bringing me in as a principle (which would have been even more pay).
Another thing that helped me was who else slalom was competing against and also the attitude / drive i brought towards growing the practice (that and i already had real plans for how to do it)
Good luck
For Mgr. it may be more aligned, I know in Mgr. Business Development a recent hire took a pay cut to join from a relatively unknown IT services company to make the leap into Slalom Management.
@SC2 that's correct, and thanks for the advice. Sounded to me that the Consultant role was quite broad and bunched together the traditional Big 4 Manager and early SM's into that title. I'll take that into consideration tho.
I haven't accepted, this is just what HR is telling me and they suggested they wouldn't be able to go much higher when they put an offer in front of me.
Op what's your manager base at EY
