Hating myself rn but don’t want to talk to the one therapist i have met with 3x and not sure if the search is even that worth it ultimately. For those that couldn’t find a good match for a therapist - are there other methods of therapy you’ve tried or would recommend?

My parents got incredibly angry and threatened to “end up in the hospital” and “disown” me after I told them I want to marry my partner, who comes from a different religion. My partner is amazing and I can’t imagine loving anyone this deeply, and feeling so safe with them. But I also love my parents and they’ve done so much for me. I don’t know how to cope with this.
