If you’re this into it I would honestly cold email some recruiters there. They might not be posting jobs for certain roles and recruiter is the only way to get an in.
I'm trying to find recruiters who work with them.I guess I could reach out to their HR via LinkedIn but not sure if that's a good move
IKEA? Dude can you put my dresser together? It's impossible!
Hahaha
I would say yes. Never hurts to just get you foot in the door. I have done this many times and it has always worked out really well.
My only worry is that the work gets really repetitive and feels too familiar and I get impatient climbing up. I'm currently at a manager level

I interviewed with them this summer! It really seems like a dream company, I was devastated when I didn’t get the job. Their marketing sector is in Sweden, so assuming you’re American, I think you will have to wait until you are more senior. Their roles are non hierarchical so it seems like everyone is required to have a good amount of skills and experience to be able to help across teams. Plus relocating talent overseas is a huge investment, so it usually only happens for senior and above. If you are talking about one of the entry level US roles, you won’t be doing any brand work and I don’t think it would be worth it, the US is basically a different company.

No problem! I learned a lot about the company through the interview process, feel free to DM me if you have questions.
Are you based in the US? I worked on IKEA and their work in the US is pretty dismal. If you’re in Europe or even Asia then I’d say go for it but the US team was pretty unimpressive.
I had a friend work at ikea in dallas, US roles are basically sales driven, POP, and catalog I believe, none of the fun brand stuff.
I've heard from a friend's friend who worked in HQ that they can be low-key kinda not friendly to non swedes. Like they would say things or make jokes in swedish and then ask her what she thinks and then go like oh wait she doesn't understand
